Cookie and browser storage policy

We use temporary page memory for search and navigation, without advertising, analytics or preference cookies.

Our current setup

PetReviewed is a static site. We have not installed advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tools that build a browsing profile. There is no login, shopping cart, newsletter form or comment system that requires an account session.

We do not use local storage to retain your search terms or remember a profile between visits. The site’s menu and search controls use temporary browser memory while the page is open. Closing or reloading the page clears that temporary interface state.

Search and cached files

When you open search, the site loads a static file containing published guide metadata. Your browser uses that information to match the terms you type. Those terms are not included in the request for the file and are not sent to an external search service.

Your browser may cache pages, images, styles, scripts or self-hosted fonts. A cache stores files so they can load more quickly; it is different from a cookie used to recognize a visitor for advertising. Cache behavior depends on your browser and the response settings used by the host.

Hosting security

Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Its security services may process network information or, when a security check requires it, use browser storage associated with that check. Any such hosting function is separate from advertising or analytics technology installed by PetReviewed. The provider’s privacy policy describes its information handling.

Following a manufacturer or other external link takes you to a different service. That website may set cookies, run analytics or offer its own consent controls. PetReviewed does not control those tools. Our current product links contain no affiliate tracking added by this site.

Your browser controls

You can review or clear cookies and cached files using your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing cached files may cause them to download again; blocking storage can also affect a hosting security check. These controls do not delete a message you separately sent by email.

We will update this page if we add features that change the site’s storage behavior. For the broader information-processing context, read our privacy policy.
